These languages are necessary for Robotics

Robotics is a significant area to explore, as it encompasses various aspects of Electronics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Instrumentation, and Artificial Intelligence.

Understanding is important along with the knowledge of the above areas because this is how robots follow the commands.

Robots process sensor data, perform a cognitive function, and prepare actions using computer software running on a processor. In essence, computer programs are a series of instructions that act on the input to generate an output.

Several programming languages are required here, such as C / C++, Java, Python, Fortran, etc. C / C++ (C++ is an object-oriented successor of the C language) is currently the most useful language in robotics. Python is also very common due to its usage in machine learning and also because ROS packages can be built using it.

C and C++ is a high-level real-time language of decision-taking algorithms for robotic perception, and control and motion. Recently Java has gained attraction from companies to build frameworks support. Certain small players like MATLAB and Octave only seek to remain in the race by creating robotics support and the related platform.

To conclude, C, C++, and Python are by far the most commonly used robotic languages. In the late '80s or '90s, C was used for the spacecraft and rockets. C++ became more common as unique and better features evolved as an extension to the already common C language. But Python has brought something new into the world of robotics. This has a simpler syntax and offers more small code functionality.

As the foundation language of the popular Linux OS was Python, it could be used to access the device's central and inner functionalities. The Linux terminal is adding new strength to robotics programming in Python. C++ also gave you the opportunity to reach a computer's innermost abilities, but it is very difficult to write since it is a low-level language, unlike Python.
Python is more productive language than JavaPython is an interpreted language with elegant syntax and makes it a very good option for scripting and rapid application development in many areas. ... Python code is much shorter, even though some Java “class shell” is not listed.
